Marthas Vineyard is a beautiful place to photograph. The range of scenery available is quite remarkable for such a small island. One of my favorite things to photograph are horses (not just in Marthas Vineyard). I found these horses just by driving around. What made me stop was the rolling pasture they were in with the addition of all the white flowers you see. It was a truly peaceful and beautiful sight. There were many horse there but this one caught my eye for his color and stature and because he was moving around a lot. These types of shots can demand a lot of patience as a lot of the time you are just staring at the horse rear end or he’s standing in an area that provides no interesting background. This horse was very obliging as he kept roaming around and giving me a range of shooting possibilities. A beautiful animal in a beautiful setting.
